    All too often people become trapped in their comfort zones and terrified to take the risks needed to follow their dreams. Nick Johnson is a motivational speaker who inspires others to live the life they were destined to live, take leaps of faith, and live with purpose. He believes that with enough passion and desire, dreams can be more than chased, they can be caught.

     Speaking three languages (English, Spanish, & Italian), traveling fourteen countries (and counting), and having lived in three (USA, Italy, & Costa Rica), Nick Johnson at the age of 22 is passionate about adventure, capturing opportunity, and is always exploring what more this world has to offer.

     When traveling, Nick often chooses the hard path; knowing there will be many opportunities to grow and learn as well as large challenges to overcome. His greatest trek came at 20 years old when he bought a one-way ticket to Central America and hitchhiked back to the States. With nothing but a backpack and a tent, Nick trekked over 5,000 miles, from Panama City to his home in Jacksonville, FL on a search for good in this world. He relied on the generosity of others and intentionally visited places people perceive as dangerous only to walk away with joyous memories. On his journey, he learned we do not live in a scary world and you truly have the power to do and be whatever you want to be. The key is taking a leap of a faith to leave your comfort zone, and amassing the courage to do so.      Prior to Nick’s speaking career he played/ coached college football at Heidelberg University, graduated Suma Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science, interned for Senator Marco Rubio, and was (and still is) actively involved in Costa Rican shark conservation research of which he has presented at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University in New York City.

     Understanding the abundance of opportunity this world has to offer and all that can be accomplished when we set our minds to it, Nick Johnson now travels the nation helping others live at their highest potential. We weren’t given dreams as merely imagination, but rather as glimpses of what we were put on this earth to do. Nick helps people do just that, live their true purpose and meaning. His exciting presentations and genuine enjoyment of life is infectious. He exemplifies what is possible when we are willing to branch out, courageously take leaps of faith, and pursue passion.

     When he is not speaking, Nick strums guitars, sings out of key, water-skis, and surfs wherever the waves are breaking. But you can almost always guarantee he is on the trail or in the water, places he describes as “Home.”
