TESTIMONIALS

"Before Nick Johnson, I believed my dreams to be only wishful thinking. After hearing Nick speak, though, his contagious excitement and authentically inspiring story has motivated me to not solely allow dreams to take a backseat in my life. Instead, I am motivated now more than ever to chase them down whatever path they may take me on, even if that path is completely unpredictable. Nick’s enthusiasm to see where life takes him has imbedded in me a desire to take a leap of faith and carry on his adventurous, free-spirited attitude into my own endeavors."

"The path you plan for your life may not be the path you travel," is the message First Friday guest speaker Nick Johnson shared with the Calvert High School students December 2nd. He encouraged the students to be open to finding and using their God-given talents and learn the life plan that is best for them."

"The story that Nick Johnson told us was inspiring because it showed that anyone can follow their dream regardless of its enormity. Nick gave us insight into his journey and proved to me that there is good in the world around us, despite what the masses may say."

More Witness to Nick’s Impact!

Christ the King Catholic School was privileged to have Nick Johnson share his personal experiences trekking through South America. As our school struggles to foster a global awareness in our students, Nick Johnson’s engaging conversation with students placed them in another’s shoes. He shared the generosity and genuine kindness he experienced in the midst of material poverty in countries such as Mexico and Costa Rica. His witticism and down to earth style relaxed students and encouraged them to ask questions.

I encourage any organization that needs a reality check on mission and purpose to investigate what Nick Johnson’s speaking engagements offer.

"My name is Julia Shami, I’m 18 years old and go to school in Tallahassee, Florida. Hearing Nick's stories from the “Great Journey North” have been extremely influential in my life. Through my conversations with Nick, I’ve learned what a well spoken and wise individual he is. It astounded me how he was able to stare a challenge in the face and courageously dive head first into a new adventure, and at such a young age . What Nick taught me was, traveling isn't always about seeing new places that your eyes haven't yet seen before, rather it’s about learning new things from those places. Nick has encouraged me to go out and seek soul enhancing lessons that only traveling out of my normal comfort zone could provide.

Now, Nick is one of my biggest role models. He inspires me to do new things and accomplish dreams that a limiting mindset would usually prevent. If you want to do something bad enough, nothing can stand in your way. Seeing someone chase something so passionately and with the power of God by their side reminds me every day that my dreams ARE possible. No matter how young, broke, or busy I am, following God’s crumb trail will always lead to a beautiful destination. Nick Johnson has changed my life and has taught me lessons that without, I would not be contemplating the dreams have today. I thank God for blessing me with someone as inspiring as Nick."
